Post Production Services

Memories Videography offers complete editing and post production services affordably. These services include duplication, foreign conversions, photograph and slide collections, and 8mm and 16mm film transfer.



What We Offer

In our facility, we utilize equipment capable of editing Hi-8mm, 8mm, VHS, VHSC, SVHS, SVHSC, Beta, and 3/4. We can edit onto Beta, VHS, or SVHS. Our experienced editors will work with you through the entire process or provide you with guidance as you work on your own. Our knowledge of editing and use of the equipment saves our customers time, especially on more complex projects. However, if you are familiar with editing equipment, or wish to try editing on your own, we will be available to assist you. Editing time with an editor is $90.00 per hour, while self-editing is $45.00 per hour.

Duplication and foreign conversions are also done on-site by professionals at Memories Videography. Nothing we offer is sent to an outside company; which enables us to ensure the quality and timely completion of each project. The cost of duplication is based on the length of each "master" tape and number of copies desired. Prices range from $3 to $15 per copy for VHS format. The cost of foreign conversions is $35 for any tape under 2.5 hours. An additional $17.50 is added to longer tapes.

Memories also offers photo collections and film transfers. Transfer onto a high grade videotape, a title, and background music of your choice (CD or cassette) are included. The costs of the transfers varies depending on the item: cost for photo collections are $1.00 per picture, slides are 75 cents each, 8mm film is $1.75 per finished minute (approx. 11 cents per foot of film), and 16mm is $2.75 per finished minute (approx. 9 cents per foot of film).
